Circuit Theory

About the Subject :

Circuit theory is a set of techniques used describe the flow of energy around an electrical loop. The theory is comprised of a number of different laws, ideas, and definitions. These include Ohm's law and Kirchhoff's law, which describe the relationship between current, voltage, and resistance.

Topics to be covered in this Seminar :

Basic Circuits Analysis  – Ohm’s Law – Kirchoffs laws – DC and AC Circuits – Phasor Diagram – Network Reduction  – Network Theorems For Dc And Ac Circuits – Superposition Theorem – Reciprocity Theorem – Resonance And Coupled Circuits – Transient Response For DC Circuits – Characterization of two port networks in terms of Z,Y and h parameters – Three phase balanced / unbalanced voltage sources– phasor diagram of voltages and currents – power and power factor measurements in three phase circuits.

Time to be planned :

     1 or 2 days
Kind of program :

3D based Seminar and Guest Lecture for the Students
